Meet Me At The Pier
1 am, awake with this dream I chase
from across town I can feel you shake;
Won’t you come to me my dear,
Meet me at the pier;
Each moment, each wave, I want to taste;Gentle words open and true
so many things I want to say to you;
Won’t you come to me my dear,
Meet me at the pier;
What’s been building is long overdue;Shooting stars cascade with emotions
tonight succumb to the rhythm;
Won’t you come to me my dear,
Meet me at the pier;
Taste the salt of your mantra, the ocean;
from across town I can feel you shake;
Won’t you come to me my dear,
Meet me at the pier;
Each moment, each wave, I want to taste;Gentle words open and true
so many things I want to say to you;
Won’t you come to me my dear,
Meet me at the pier;
What’s been building is long overdue;Shooting stars cascade with emotions
tonight succumb to the rhythm;
Won’t you come to me my dear,
Meet me at the pier;
Taste the salt of your mantra, the ocean;
What’s in your sigh makes me capsize,
let’s break the rules get lost in time;
Won’t you come to me my dear,
Meet me at the pier;
Together at dawn, hope greets the sunrise.
