Our next annual PMA Members Show Exhibition

has been moved from the Spring to the Fall of 2026!


Exhibition dates:

September 18, 2026 - January 3, 2027


The Members Show is an annual juried exhibition open to all Pensacola Museum of Art members. Our founders introduced The Members Show during the art center’s first year as a way to honor and celebrate the relationship between local artists and the institution.


This year we celebrate the 72nd Annual Members Show by asking artists to submit works no larger than 14 inches in any dimension [(72nd) 7x2=14] . The call is open to all media, both 2D and 3D. Standard presentation devices like pedestals, mats, and frames that are not considered part of the work of art are not limited by the 14" criteria.


This exhibition is a benefit for existing members and helps to build our community of local artists. The call is open to artists of all skill levels, from beginning and emerging artists, to those with established careers. The 2025 exhibition showcased over eighty local, regional, and national artists, working in a diverse range of media. Prizes are awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners and a special People’s Choice winner is determined by visitors during the opening reception. This year's exhibition will be judged by acclaimed artist Pippin Frisbie-Calder.


The Members Show is an annual, local tradition that helps grow our museum community and membership program. This year we look forward to showcasing a gallery full of unique, compelling, and exquisite little gems.

Deadline for Entries: Sunday, August 2, 2026 @ 11:59PM

Acceptance Notification: Friday, August 7, 2026


Artwork Drop-off Dates: September 10th - 12th, 2026, 10AM-4PM

Deadline for Artwork Drop-off: Saturday, September 12, 2026, 10AM-4PM


OPENING RECEPTION/AWARDS CEREMONY:

September 18, 2026, 5-7PM

People’s Choice Voting ends at 6PM, announced 6:30PM



SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

  • Artists may submit up to three (3) submissions for review. One work will be chosen for display.
  • Artwork must meet the following requirements (Small Format Edition):
  • - Artwork cannot exceed 14 inches in any direction (Standard presentation devices like pedestals, mats, and frames that are not considered part of the work of art are not limited by the 14" criteria.)
  • - Artwork cannot weigh more than 50 lbs.
  • - All works must be ready to hang and equipped with the necessary hardware.
  • - Must include title, date, medium, and dimensions/duration for each submission. For dimensions, the size of the completed work should include frames and mounts.
  • - Artists must be a member of the Pensacola Museum of Art to qualify for review. Artist’s membership must be valid through October 2026.
  • - Submitted artwork must not have been accepted to a previous PMA Members Show or be concurrently exhibited elsewhere.
  • - Artists using Generative Artificial Intelligence material must disclose their use of software so we can further evaluate your submission.
  • - Submissions will ONLY be reviewed digitally.
