Gifts to the PMA Education Department Scholarship Fund support opportunities for children to attend a program they may not otherwise be able to afford. 
We believe it is important to provide affordable community access to quality visual arts education.

Thanks to generous support from Bill McKee and family in memory of Martha Brooks McKee, the PMA is thrilled to announce the creation of a scholarship fund for our After School Art program in 2022! Since then, we have awarded twenty seven students with FULL scholarships and five students with 50% scholarships. Thank you for being an essential partner in our efforts.

With your contribution, we can provide increased access to visual arts education in our community. A donation of $250.00 will provide a full scholarship for one semester of After School Art. Any amount you can give is appreciated.

Fall 2026 Scholarship Applications

 **Jan. 10 UPDATE** SPRING 2026 Semester is FULL. Apply for Fall Semester by August 10, 2026!  

 

Spring 2026 Program Begins: Thursday, January 15, 2026.  

Afterschool Art program: Every Thursday, 3:30-5:00pm.

For Students in Grades 2-6

* Funding is limited. Scholarships are awarded based on financial need and student's interest in the visual arts. Accepted applicants will be notified at least one week before the program starting date. Students accepted into this program must have reliable transportation to and from the PMA, and are expected to attend the majority of class dates on a regular basis. If a scholarship student stops attending the After School Art program without contacting the PMA, they may be responsible for repaying the remaining balance of the scholarship award on a case-by-case basis.
