An Artist Talk with Pippin Frisbie-Calder
Museum Opens at 10 a.m. Artist Talk begins at 11 a.m.
Participatory “Simulated Extinction” Event will conclude the talk.
This program is Free and Open to the Public.
Pippin Frisbie-Calder is a printmaker and environmentalist whose practice combines science and art to create interactive experiences for audiences. Her installations simultaneously immerse viewers in the beauty of our natural environments and confront them with forces that imperil our planet. Frisbie-Calder holds degrees in printmaking from Tulane University, MFA, and Rhode Island School of Design, BFA. Frisbie-Calder’s work has recently been exhibited at the Ohr-O’Keefe Museum, New Orleans Contemporary Art Center, Southeastern Louisiana University, Capitol Park Museum, University of West Florida, Urban Institute for Contemporary Art, Waterfall Arts and Biennale Internationale d’estampe contemporaine.
This program is presented in conjunction with our current exhibition, STEAM2026, on view through January 17, 2027.
