November 7, 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm

Description

Join us for a hands-on, creative workshop where we’ll explore the art of nature printing. Using gathered leaves, seasonal flowers, and other found organic treasures, you will learn how to transfer nature’s intricate textures directly onto paper and fabric.

Whether you want to create a framed botanical print or a custom tee, this interactive workshop allows you to discover the rich textures of the fall season by learning the best techniques for inking and pressing natural objects to capture stunning details.

You will first practice these skills by creating several botanical prints on watercolor paper, which are perfect for framing or gifting. From there, you will transition to printing on fabric, transforming cotton textiles into unique, wearable art using fabric inks.

We will guide you through every step of the process, and all essential materials are included in the workshop fee. A tote bag and watercolor paper will be provided for each participant to print on, and we highly encourage you to bring a 100% cotton or linen shirt from home to personalize, keeping in mind that lighter colors work best for the inks to pop.

This workshop is designed specifically for adults and teenagers ages 13 and up. No prior art experience is needed to participate!

Only $10.00 to register, all supplies are included.

Seating is limited and pre-registration is required.
