Exhibition overview
Crossing Boundaries: Art and The Future of Energy National Juried Exhibition features invited and juried artists whose trans-disciplinary works attend to and contemplate issues such as the future of clean energy, eco-aesthetics, eco-justice, sustainability, social practice and the environment, the intersections of science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM) that are contextualized through aesthetic practices. The exhibition serves as a laboratory for the exchange of innovative ideas as well as space for experimental investigations. The art and science can reveal our path to resiliency as we face a changing climate and the environmental, economic and social challenges that impact all cultures, countries, and nationalities globally.
The Pensacola Museum of Art, 350 Pensacola, and UWF Department of Art exhibition and event are part of the Clean Energy Festival and Pensacola Foo Foo Festival, and is made possible by a grant from Art, Culture and Entertainment (ACE), Inc., and the fiscal sponsorship of Pensacola Community Action Network (Pensacola CAN)
