Summer Exhibitions Opening Reception

Description
Join us for a Summer Solstice celebration showcasing the opening of two new exhibitions at the PMA!
Gestalt of the Berth, on view in the first floor galleries, features collaborations between Gulf Islands National Seashore Artist-in-Residence John Doughtery and local artists from the Pensacola community.
On the second floor, nationally recognized masterpieces will be unveiled for the opening of the contemporary sculpture exhibition Dualities, co-curated by Jimmy Rhea and PMA Director, Nicholas Croghan.
Both exhibitions showcase exciting artwork created in a variety of mediums that range from traditional craft to cutting-edge processes.
Light refreshments will be served, and in the spirit of celebrating summer we will have Whim Cotton Candy on site, spinning delectable sugary treats for all to enjoy.

This event is free and open to the public from 5:00 – 8:00pm.
