We recommend planning for about one to two hours with our exhibitions depending on what’s on view and the size of your group.

Yes! We have an interactive space with activities, books, and drawing materials. There is an accessible ramp from our parking lot for stroller access, and we offer free monthly programs for pre-school students aged 2-5, free monthly Art Academy programs for individuals on the autism spectrum, as well as weekly semester classes for children as young as age 4 through Grade 6. We periodically offer events and workshops that you and your family can participate in together, and we are in close proximity to other fun museums and parks downtown.

Did you know? Your PMA admission ticket(s) also allow you entry into the Children's Museum as well as all other downtown Historic Trust sites, such as the Museum of History, Museum of Commerce, Museum of Industry, and more! Please see a front desk staff member for more information.

Please visit our “Art” page to see our current exhibitions and what is upcoming, as well as a map of their location within the museum.

The PMA is accessible for wheelchairs and strollers. The Museum is equipped with one elevator and all galleries are accessible to guests using wheelchairs and others who may need to avoid stairs. Accessible parking is located on the north side of the Museum in the parking lot, next to the Accessible entrance. Please ring bell next to the door if service and assistance is needed.

Paid parking is available in our lot on a first-come first served basis, and can also be located on the streets around the Museum on Zarragossa St, Jefferson St, Main St, and Palafox St. Some parking spaces are free for two hours, please take note of all posted signage. The Jefferson St. garage is free on Sundays.

Often Pensacola Museum of Art staff are asked to look at an artwork or family heirloom and give our opinion on its value. Our staff members are unable to provide values of objects or give references to specific appraisers due to ethical considerations. The following organizations can help you find a qualified appraiser in your area:

  • Appraisers Association of America
  • American Society of Appraisers
  • International Society of Appraisers

The PMA appreciates the generosity of donors who wish to make gifts of art during their lifetime or through a bequest. Donating artwork requires special attention, and every donation must undergo a formal review process. Please contact the PMA Director, Nicholas Croghan: ncroghan@uwf.edu with any donation inquiries.

PMA staff regularly reviews exhibition proposals from artists and other institutions. Email pma@uwf.edu If you would like to share your portfolio or proposal. There is an annual Members Show, and we also post several Calls for Artist Proposals on our website throughout the year.
