The Pensacola Museum of Art invites all artists to submit their mural ideas for a chance to participate in the Cubed 2026 Live Painting Event. 

Artists must be available March 14, 2026, from 10AM-4PM for the live painting event. Additional prep/painting days include Friday, March 13 - Sunday, March 15. Each artist will be working with one side of an 8 x 8 ft cube in the UWF Historic Trust Museum Plaza, Downtown Pensacola. Cubed Mural Paintings will be on display for approximately one year.

HOW TO SUBMIT:

Interested artists should submit their proposal through email to pma@uwf.edu with the subject line “CUBED 2026”. All proposals must include a letter of intent, list of materials of choice*, with an image of the mural design for consideration. In addition, artists should include a link to their online portfolio or a selection of 5 - 10 works of art related to mural painting. Submissions are due via email by 11:59 PM on Sunday, February 15, 2026.

Selected artists will receive a $500 stipend after the completion of the mural. Artists are required to bring their own paint and supplies. A 6ft table and water for cleaning brushes will be provided only on the day of the live painting event, March 14.
