Kissed in Digital Gloss
March 1 -
Anastasia Moray Leech creates using installation, sculpture, and digital multimedia to address the effervescence of popular culture and its evolving modes of physical and digital connection. Reoccurring themes in her work address hedonism, camp, and sensuality while also investigating their conceptual relation to hyper-stimulation and the ephemerality of physical and digital interfaces. Kissed in Digital Gloss is her most recent installation—focusing on abstracting technological reality through pixelation. The exhibition exists in the physical space of our gallery, as an outdoor projection on the museum’s north facade, and as an online video.
